Happy Birthday to Anderson Cooper!

For the past several months, I’ve had this photo of me and Anderson Cooper on my Facebook profile just for kicks. I met the CNN anchor while covering the 2008 Democratic National Convention when I was on loan to the Denver Post for  a week to cover the celeb scene there.

Anderson, one of the hardest-working reporter/anchors in the news biz, also shows his lighter side during his frequent stints sitting in as a guest host on ABC’s Regis and Kelly.

The silver fox, who turns 43 today, has such a great sense of humor and recently displayed an unusual skill:  he’s real good at flipping Oreos from his forehead into his mouth!

Now that’s talent!
