Happy 8th wedding anniversary to “DailyMail TV” host Thomas Roberts and husband Patrick Abner

Tonight we @patrickdabner celebrate ???? our 8th Wedding Anniversary. The year was 2012. New York state passed marriage equality rights the summer before. SCOTUS wouldn’t rule until 2015, three years later, our Marriage is a Federally protected, recognizable right and afforded benefits to American citizens regardless of Sexual Orientation. Tonight remember this…it’s important to mention in the summer of 2012 the @whitehouse evolved & supported Federal Marriage Equality. That message of support came first from then VP @joebiden on @meetthepress & it was a #bfd Our marriage & ALL marriages between loving, consenting Adults…Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Interracial or Inter-Faith…deserve equal protections under US Policy & Law. My marriage…Nobody’s marriage should be a political weapon…haven’t we all evolved? Preparing to watch this debate…I’m drafting this before we eat our Special Anniversary dinner. Patrick is telling me to hurry up…but my life…our life together was incredibly enhanced eight years ago tonight. It’s something I’m extremely grateful to have. Patrick…patience of a Saint…I love you and I’m coming to dinner now.
