Happy 80th birthday to the great Carole King!

Carole King is one of the most talented performers and songwriters to ever walk the Earth.

She co-wrote her own hits and hits for so many other artists including such songs as You’ve Got a Friend, Where You Lead, It’s Too Late, Natural Woman, Up on the Roof, I Feel the Earth Move, The Loco-Motion, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, One Fine Day, Jazzman, I’m into Something Good, Take Good Care of My Baby, So Far Away, and many more.

Miss King is 80 today!

In tribute, I am posting some of her performances, tributes, and interviews and the bottom video is epic: It is Aretha Franklin at the Kennedy Center Honors belting out the classic song King wrote that was one of the Queen of Soul’s greatest hits. King’s reaction to Aretha’s appearance is joyous.
