Happy 60th birthday Tuc Watkins!

Tuc Watkins is celebrating his 60th birthday today and the handsome and talented actor is aging like fine wine.

The star of the recent film Death on the Brandywine, Tuc has recurred in the Hulu series Paradise the past few years, guest starred on ABC’s Shifting Gears and The Rookie, and last month was announced as one of the upcoming series Escorted.

I’ve been a fan of Tuc’s work for a very long time and am so glad I got to see him in The Inheritance a few years back at the Geffen Playhouse where he stood out in a hugely talented ensemble cast.

Tuc also starred in the film Exit Interviews last year and a few years earlier co-starred in the Netflix comedy series Uncoupled as Neil Patrick Harris’ ex and in Unconventional as Dr. Trip Howell.

Tuc has been one of my favorite actors since I began watching him as the delicious David Vickers on One Life to Live in the 1990s. My fandom intensified when he played gay TV executive Malcolm for two seasons on Showtime’s Beggars & Choosers.

He played Congressman Roger Harris in seven episodes of the series Black Monday, was a regular cast member on Desperate Housewives and has a long list of TV guest spots on such shows as The Other Two, Major Crimes, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Franklin & Bash, Parks & Recreation, Castle, Awkward. and Telenovela and many more.

Tuc was very good in the Broadway production and movie version of Boys in the Band where he met his partner Andrew Rannells, starred in the feature film Retake and had a recurring role in the classic web series Where the Bears Are.

All I can say is that whatever Tuc is in, I want to see it!
