Happy 43rd Birthday to Ricky Martin!

“Yeahhh! It’s my birthday,” Ricky Martin wrote on Twitter today.

Hope he’s having a stupendous birthday on the day before Christmas.

Ricky, the father of twin boys, turns 43 and has spent this year as a single man after ending a three-year relationship.

In an interview he gave this year, Ricky said he enjoyed finally coming out so much that he’d like to do it all over again.

“It felt amazing. I wish I could come out again because that moment felt very blissful,” Ricky told radio station KIISS-FM.

“It really feels amazing and then when it happens you realize all your fears were in your head. The amount of support I received… from the media, obviously my fans and my family was amazing. Unfortunately, society just pushes us to believe that our feelings are evil.”

Ricky went on to explain that his two children were the main reason behind his decision to come out, saying: “When I held them in my arms for the first time… it’s about honesty and transparency and I want my kids to grow up in an open household where they don’t have to lie about their daddy.”
