Happy 43rd birthday to Gale Harold!
Gale Harold has way too many loyal fans for me to ever forget his birthday!
I’ve been hearing from them since the start of the day in Europe!
I think it is wonderfully sweet.
A super fan from Spain who asked me not to use her name writes: “Gale has people following him from many parts of the world: Russia, Italy, Korea, China, Philippines, Australia, France, Spain, United States, Canada, Brasil, Mexico, Argentina Dubai, and many more… He stole our hearts giving life to Brian Kinney and he continues make us happy when we seen him acting in Television, theater or movies.”
Gale, who turns 43 today, missed out on the Queer as Folk reunion in Germany last month. Instead, he was attending the Sundance’s Director´s Lab at The Sundance Institute. (He’s pictured below with Sundance´s Artistic Director Gyula Gazdagz)

I agree 100% with the woman from Spain. While I’d never want to know Brian Kinney, Gale Harold made him the greatest gay icon ever, as far as I’m concerned. Or maybe I’m in a small minority of people who needed to be told that I had the right to think or say FU to the rest of the world, or much of it. If took a season or two to sink in, but that alone was a tremendous gift.
