Happy 42nd Birthday to Sean Hayes!

We first noticed Sean Hayes in his cult classic film Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss then, of course, came Will & Grace and the delicious comedy creation that was Jack Macfarland.

The more famous he became, the less Sean wanted to talk about being gay. But since opening up about his sexuality in an Advocate interview a few years back, he become more relaxed and much more appealing!

His career is also thriving in front of and behind the camera.

He played Larry in The Three Stooges feature film, was a smash in the Broadway musical Promises, Promises opposite Kristin Chenoweth, and is a co-executive producer of the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland and of the NBC series Grimm.

Happy 42nd birthday to this great out-and-proud talent!

I continue to think Sean did ‘just Jack’ so well, little did I know then now little I knew and now really enjoy Sean being Sean.

meant to write … little did I know just how little I knew and now really enjoy Sean being Sean.

  3. Loved Sean in “Billy’s Hollywood – -” but disliked his portrayal of Jack. I was awed by him in “Promises” and am now wishing he would do more movies – but not movies like “The Three Stooges.” He is so deserving of better roles.

  4. In Will & Grace, I thought Sean was hysterical. I was never offended by anything in that show. Unfortunately, I’ve never seen him perform in anything else. I wish him many more birthdays and years of success.

  5. Hey Greg, thanks for passing the word about Sean Hayes’ birthday. Sean, where ever you are, I hope you’re having a great time. Regarding the conversation stream from the commenters on this post, let me add my two cents’ worth: I loved Sean Hayes as Jack in Will & Grace, and from what I remember from the movie Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss I loved him in that portrayal too. I haven’t yet seen The Three Stooges movie yet, so I cannot offer an opinion. One of my favorite scenes Sean did in Will & Grace was the coffee scene, when Jack bursts in, tells Will and Grace his little short story about the coffee shop barrista he’s fallen for all in high-speed fashion. He does great comedic acting. And, I love those icy blue eyes; makes me want plant a long wet one on those lips, y’know? Happy Birthday, Sean Hayes! And let me echo Paul’s comment above, “..am now wishing he would do more movies.. ..He is so deserving of better roles.”
