Happy 35th birhday to Jason Collins!

Jason Collins, who played 12 seasons for the NBA before coming out as a gay man last April, turns 35 today.

While 35 is young to most of us, for pro basketball it seems to be a bit old since no team has called on Jason to play for them this year.

But Jason is still enjoying life living in LA. He tweeted today: “Thank you to everyone who reached out to wish me a happy birthday. Best gift is being able to live an authentic life with my loved ones. That being said, congrats to @TomDaley1994 for sharing his private life with the world. Brave decision. Much support and love from all of us.”
