Happy 32nd Birthday to Roger Federer!

This has been a tough year for we Roger Federer fans who have seen our favorite player struggle with injuries and drop down to number five in the world.

We don’t want to see him go out this way and are hoping for a revival at the US Open.

The great champion turns 32 today which, in tennis years, is senior citizen territory. But we somehow thought our Roger was immune since it was only a year ago that he won Wimbledon and regained the number one ranking.

Whatever happens in the coming months, I think this is a good time to celebrate all that Federer has achieved – it is just astounding and I think the reason his current slump is so tough for us is because we had gotten spoiled as he glided through to win 7 Wimbledons, 5 US Opens, 4 Australian Opens and that one precious French Open in 2009.
