Happy 30th birthday to Chris Colfer!
I’ve been so dazzled and impressed with Chris Colfer since first seeing him on Glee all those years ago.
Hard to believe that he is turning 30 today and has already accomplished so much.
He gave the gay character of Kurt Hummel such heart and soul. We rooted for Kurt and we rooted for Chris who went from unknown to Golden Globe winner, three-time People’s Choice Award winner and Emmy nominee.
But even during the show’s run, Chris was always working on other things. He wrote, starred in, produced, and novelized his first film, Struck by Lightning, which debuted at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. He is also a New York Times number-one bestselling author of The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell, the first novel in his middle-grade reader series. He has since written five more books in the The Land of Stories and all have been best sellers.
In 2017, Chris also released his second book for Young Adult readers called Stranger Than Fanfiction.
Happy birthday to this talented and busy young man!
