Greg In Hollywood’s Friday Briefs!

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Qg6J04XZhR4/SoDOg0aMbyI/AAAAAAAAIxE/7r2qidkw124/s400/djokovic+montreal+2.jpgI’ve been wanting for weeks to revive the afternoon briefs column but dragged my feet because I wanted to come up with a catchy name.

Heck with it. It’s going to be called: Briefs.

To dress it up, a dude in his brief each day [today is tennis stud Novak Djokovic).

Sound good?

So, Access Hollywood is reporting that one of our favorite out actors Chad Allen will do a guest turn on Showtime’s Dexter as a killer stalked by Dexter (Michael C. Hall) … Pop star turned actor Justin Timberlake will voice a gay character and a “singing booger” in an upcoming episode of The Cleveland Show, a spin-off of Family Guy. … Sen. John McCain has not been influenced one iota by his wife and daughter’s very public pro-same sex marriage stance. The former presidential candidate is still intent on being an anti-gay bigot publicly… Speaking of Republicans, I personally find it difficult to understand how any gay person can be a Republican given the party’s social conservative platform. I’ve talked to several gay Republicans over the years and, sorry, but I’ve never been convinced of anything except maybe there’s some self-loathing there. So It’s no surprise really that a group called GOProud has signed the hideous Ann Coulter to headline its Homocon 2010 event. …http://www.starmagazine.com/media/originals/NeilPatrickHarris_David_230.jpg Gawker asked readers which same-sex couple they would like to see get married now that Prop. 8 is overturned. The winners seem to be Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka although I saw at least one vote for Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King who, last time I checked, not a couple! … Amid talk of a boycott by gays, Target Crop. has apologized for making a $150,000 contribution to a Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota who is an outspoken conservative opposed to same-sex marriage and other gay-rights initiatives. Still not sure I’m shopping there again … And finally, in celebration of Prop 8’s demise the producers of STREEP TEASE are offering $10 tickets to Sunday night’s 7:30 PM show! 2 Tickets per person. First come, first served. Contact: DavidDeanBottrell@gmail.com to reserve.
