“Grace and Frankie” starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin has been renewed for second season

The comedy series Grace And Frankie has gotten a second season on Netflix.

The first TV series ever done by Jane Fonda, who stars opposite Lily Tomlin, premiered earlier this month.

They play two frenemies who are thrown together when their law partner husbands leave them – for each other.

The husbands are played by Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston.

The renewal was confirmed tonight by co-creator and executive producer Marta Kauffman who said: “Let me say, it’s so awesome to do a show on Netflix because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a tweet about your show, and they call and say, ‘We’d like to do a season two.’ So yes, there is a season two.”
