“Golden Girls” Tuesday: Sophia rents a porno!

The episode seems to begin like so many others with the theme music etc. We see Sophia plop onto the sofa with a big bag of pop corn and flip on the VCR: She’s decided to watch a porno.

Dorothy is aghast and tries to turn it off. As she fumbles with the remote, Blanche and Rose walk in and have all kinds of commentary. It reminds Rose of the rabbits back at the farm while Blanche points and says: “I did that once!”

Dorothy is finally able to shut it off but Sophia wonders why the fuss: “I’m 81, what are you worried about? You think I’m going to find someone down at the [seniors] center to do that with?”
