“Glee” star Matthew Morrison gets record deal!
I look forward to this!
Glee heartthrob Matthew Morrison has scored a record deal so we’ll be able to enjoy him singing as himself and not just in character as the adorable and optimistic Will Schuester on the Fox TV show.
Matthew, who recently was forced to come out as straight when a magazine reporter assumed her was gay, has signed to Mercury Records and is scheduled to soon head into the recording studio. The release is set for this fall, right around the time when his show debuts its second season.
A Golden Globe nominee this year, Matthew’s musical experience is vast. He’s a Tony Award-nominated performer for The Light in the Piazza. He has also appeared in Hairspray and the revival of South Pacific.

Good for him. Hope he has a duet on the album with some of the GLEE girls, that would rock.

I actually got to see him at the Scottrade Center with NKOTBSB. I admitt, I never gave Glee a chance, but after I saw him, I am in love!
