Glee star Kevin McHale speaks out for gay marriage
Always nice to see celebs speak out for LGBT equality.
Kevin McHale has had a nice run on Glee and has one more season to go.
His character of Artie Abrams isn’t gay but he has had plenty of gay friends like Kurt, Blaine and Santana and lost his virginity to bisexual cheerleader Brittany.
Kevin is also gay friendly and has made a new video for the Human Rights Campaign’s Americans for Marriage Equality campaign.
‘We need nationwide marriage equality now because two people in love should never be illegal,’ he says
Kevin also talks about the meaning of family.
‘Family, to me, is about surrounding yourself with loved ones and having them by your side, no matter what happens,’ says the actor.
‘Committed and loving gay and lesbian couples deserve to have their love, their relationships and their families recognized like everyone else.’
Kevin, 26, is among the Glee stars returning for the show’s abbreviated sixth season which will be the show’s last.
