Lunch Break Video: “Glee” star Jane Lynch and wife Lara Embry’s talk about how “It Gets Better”

I’m so happy for Jane Lynch and Lara Embry, that they found each other, got married, and are sharing a life together.

They are two very thoughtful women and it’s nice to hear them talk about their lives as closeted teens and how it all got better:

Says Jane: ‘I realized I was gay when I was about 12 and I thought it was a disease and I had it. In high school I had one gay friend, although we never spoke of it. I’m sure there were other gay people at my high school – I was on the basketball team for God’s sake. But I really felt alone it in.’

Says Lara: ‘I realized I was gay when I was 14 and Martina Navratilova got outed and I realized there was such a thing.
