George Takei celebrates 89th birthday!

He certainly is living long and prospering! Star Trek icon George Takei celebrates his 89th birthday today and posted this photo wit hubby Brad. He writes: 89 candles would have set off the sprinklers, so we settled for one — and one perfect slice of cake (with Brad on ice cream duty). Thank you to every friend, fan, and fellow traveler who has made these 89 years such a joyous voyage. Last night’s celebration was at the wonderful Kali Restaurant on Melrose here in Los Angeles — gracious hospitality and a dessert worth lighting a flame for. Onward to 90!
