Sad News: LGBT website Gay Star News is closing
This news hits like a ton of bricks. London-Based Gay Star News, launched in December 2011 with me as their original US correspondent, is ceasing publication.
Founders Tris Reid-Smith and Scott Nunn had a vision and a dream and worked immensely hard to make it come true.
David Hudson and Joe Morgan were among my wonderful colleagues for the 5.5 very satisfying years I spent there before leaving in 2017. I truly, truly loved GSN and know everyone there was united by a passion to cover all things LGBT.
I am gutted for the entire team and hope they know how much they have to be proud of and how much the site will be missed.
