I have mixed feelings about Carl retiring. Though with 7 seasons under his belt, the average football player’s career is only 3.3 seasons.
I was hoping that someone would pick him up and he could play a little longer. Maybe he didn’t want to be like Colon Kaepernick waiting around. He is a good player. Why are they not picking him? Instatutional homophobia?? I kept wishing that more players would come out since he has taken the lead. At least get us to 8-10% of all NFL football players out and proud.
Carl has done well for himself. I wish him nothing but the best.
Sammie says:
A modern day NFL sports icon of the community. Unfortunately, Carl fell short due his support and ally for twice impeached and criminally indicted anti-democratic racist ex-president, Donald J. Trump.

We’ve seen these guys retire and then come back. He seems like a really nice guy. Hope he comes back, but if he doesn’t, hope he has a happy life.
