Gay brothers Sam and Dan McMillen finish in second place on “The Amazing Race”
I’m still a wreck after watching the season finale of The Amazing Race!
It turns out that Meghan and Cheyne are the champions after a very close race to the finish in Las Vegas. If Sam and Dan McMillen had been a little more careful counting out $1 million in poker chips, they would have won. It was a pity because they got to the casino where the the chips were far ahead of the other teams.

Once the teams correctly counted out the chips, they had to get the location of the finish line from Wayne Newton! Sam and Dan could not remember his name! Perhaps it was because Wayne has had so much plastic surgery he looks not so much like Wayne Newton anymore!
Sam and Dan said after that the competition made them closer than ever. They had only come out to each other a short time before the show.
“We’re completely happy to be here, we wanted to tell out story,” one of the brothers said (Sorry! Not sure if it was Dan or Sam speaking!).
Congrats to the brothers for their strong finish and for staying competitive until the end!

Greg, it was Dan that made that last comment – in fact Dan couldn’t stop running his mouth at the end.
At first I was really rooting for Sam and Dan to win it all. Then as the season wore on and their bickering/fighting grew more and more intense, I got so tired of their presence on the show. Dan (the younger brother) was such a big whiner. Sam tried to keep their team rational and sane, but Dan made it almost impossible. Aghhh!
I was happy to see Megan and Cheyne win!
PS: That spelling of Shane drives me bonkers!
