Friday Morning Man: Boris Kodjoe!
Could this guy be any more handsome? Good grief!
He’s the very busy actor Boris Kodjoe who is celebrating his 46th birthday today.
He;s currently filming Nicole & OJ in which he portrays OJ Simpson, was a regular on ABC’s Station 19 and CBS’s Code Black and had recurring role on House of Cards.
This former model was named one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 2002 and first became best known for his role as a sports agent on the HBO series Soul Food which ended its four-year run in 2004. He went on to star in the short-lived series Second Time Around with his Soul Food co-star and real-life wife Nicole Ari Parker and had a recurring guest-star role in Fox’s The Last Man on Earth. His film credits include Brown Sugar, The Gospel, Madea’s Family Reunion and Resident Evil: Afterlife.
He has a very interesting background: Boris was born in Vienna, Austria. His mother was a German psychologist and his father a Ghanaian doctor. He is fluent in German, French, English and Spanish and had aspired to be a professional tennis player. He played on the tennis team at Virginia Commonwealth University but suffered a back injury that ended his hopes for a career in the sport.
He hasn’t done too badly for himself with his second choice!
