Friday Briefs: Sandra Bullock update; Rachael Ray’s girl crush; Chris Colfer’s hairy situation in Rolling Stone!

We love Sandra Bullock and are glad she has that cheating Jesse James and all his tacky tattoos out of her life.

Sandra, Oscar winner this year for The Blind Side and a new mom, graces the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly. The inside article examins how she consciously retooled her career, how she transcended the tabloid noise, and where she might go from here.

She has endless options: At age 46, a decade and a half after she jumped on the bus in Speed, the actress is being courted for virtually every female starring role Hollywood has to offer, from a Disney family fable called The Odd Life of Timothy Green to Our Wild Life, a drama about an elephant orphanage.

FEY AND RAY: I love this! Rachael Ray is such a charmer. I love watching her cook because she’s so chatty and makes you actually feel like you can make what she is preparing. (Sorry Martha Stewart, but you scare me a little!).

Anyway, Rachael has yet another new show (the woman is such a brand!) called Rachael Ray’s Week in a Day. She appeared on the The Late Show With Craig Ferguson this week to promote the show said she liked the title because it rhymed.

Craig suggested another rhyme: “Rachael Ray: She’s Sometimes Gay? Cause I’d watch that show, I tell you that!”

This led Rachael to this admission about 30 Rock star Tina Fey: “I actually have a short list of women that I am a little gay for. But she knows it, I told her.”

I can understand it. If I had a short list of women I might be a little straight for, Tina Fey might just make the cut!

Rolling Stone’s TV Fall Preview might feature Mad Men cast members on the cover but it is a pic inside of Chris Colfer (as Kurt Hummel in Glee) that is getting a lot of attention. Why? Because he’s not on a high school campus in this shot, he appears to be in a leather bar surrounded by hairy men! I just don’t think Kurt is ready for this!
