Freddie Smith: “I’m feeling better, taking it day by day. It’s just nice to be back and working”
I posted a few days ago about Freddie Smith facing charges in the accident he was involved with in Ohio that lefty his girlfriend seriously injured.
A lot of readers have weighed in so I know there’s a lot of interest out there.
Soap journalist Michael Fairman snagged the first post-accident interview with Freddie.
‘I’m doing very good – I’m feeling better, taking it day by day,’ he said. ‘It’s just nice to be back and working. I had amazing support from all the fans, friends and family and that’s what’s most important.’
He also acknowledged the support of co-star Guy Wilson who did the interview with him. He said Wilson ‘picked me up and brought me to work a few days. … The support really helped. I felt very blessed to have so many people that cared about me.’
Freddie is back busy working as is Wilson who was off the show for a bit when Will went to LA.
Says Freddie: ‘This next chapter that’s about to come up has been the most interesting, fascinating ups and downs that I’ve ever done.’

No, that is the second most important thing Mr. Smith, the first one is to learn the lesson and realize you or third parties can die while driving under the influence. Once you admit and understand that, all the support and love in the world for you. If you didn’t, then the support may help to make it as if it wasn’t a mistake at all or even totally out of your control, thus increasing the possibilities of another incident as those we are tired of reading about from so many people. Again, you deserve the best from everybody, but the best from yourself is (at least trying) self examination and wisdom.
