Fran Drescher presides over gay wedding in NYC!

Okay, I expected this to be kind of cheesy at best.

But after watching video of the nuptials of Tom Wahlen and Russell Kemp, who were married by Fran Drescher in New York City this week, I was surprisingly moved.

The couple has been together for nearly 19 years and are raising two children – both of whom participated in the wedding held at The Out Hotel.

Their son Mason said during the ceremony:

‘I want my daddies to have a happy life and for them to be together forever. I love them from the moon to the stars and back again. They are the best daddies anyone could ever have.’

There was not a dry eye in the house – including Drescher who pointed out that she was not wearing water-proof mascara!
