Fortune Feimster shares update on mom Ginger’s battle against cancer: “She’s a fighter and the fight continues”

Fortune Feimster fans are well aware that her completely delightful mom Ginger, so funny in her own right, is battling cancer. They have posted a video on Facebook that I’m having difficulty embedding so here is the LINK.

Fortune writes: “My mom has had a rough couple of weeks so I stopped into NC to check on her. She’s a trooper. I think we’ve both been so focused on staying positive that the reality of this situation has come in waves. The reality is this sucks. It’s hard to see someone you love get sick and the aggressiveness of her type of cancer is really scary. I hate that my mom has to go through this. I hate that anyone does. It’s hard on their bodies and their minds. It makes you realize how important it is to spend time together and to let go of anything trivial. Because as my mom says, your whole life can change in an instant. But she’s a fighter and the fight continues.”
