Florence Henderson brings her act “All the Lives of Me” to The Magic Castle on Monday and Tuesday
If you only know Florence Henderson from her role as Carol Brady in The Brady Bunch and all its incarnations, then you are missing out!
This showbiz icon had a hugely successful Broadway career (Fanny, The Sound of Music and South Pacific) before she ever uttered the words “Oh Miiike.”
She sings one heckuva number and tells some great anecdotes too.
That’s why I’m so excited to be attending her one-woman show All the Lives of Me … A Musical Journey next week at The Magic Castle in Hollywood.
Miss Henderson’s performance is part of the Cabaret at the Castle series where this year I’ve seen Carol Channing, JoAnne Worley and Rachel York perform their shows in a wonderfully intimate setting where there is not a bad seat in the house.
Florence will perform Monday, Nov. 9 and Tuesday, Nov. 1o. To order tickets (they are $50), call 323-851-3313 or go to Magiccastle.com/eventtickets. (Enter Code M18029).
This video gives you a good sampling of the kind of show Miss Henderson puts on:
