Flashback Video: “Old Broads” Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Collins and Shirley MacLaine have bitchfest!

I’ll be the first to admit that the 2001 television film These Old Broads was overall kind of dreadful and I’ve only watched it all the way through maybe once.

But there are some scenes within this boring mess that are quite delicious and I happen to have them right here.

They are between Elizabeth Taylor and Debbie Reynolds having a conversation about a shared ex named Freddy Hunter who clearly is their real-life shared ex Eddie Fisher.

The movie is written by Carrie Fisher so it’s fun to know she wrote this about her mom, dad, and one-time stepmom!

Then there is the delicious bitchy barbs that take place once Shirley MacLaine and Joan Collins join the fun.

It’s the last film Miss Taylor ever made and, I am sure, the last time she tried to use that terrible accent!
