Flashback Video: Chris Pine’s dad and Charles Nelson Reilly helped Kirstie Alley win on “Match Game”
Before she Rebecca on Cheers and long before she became a Fat Actress, Kirstie Alley was a contestant on Match Game, the popular game show of the 70s and 80s.
She managed to win $5,000 with the help of CHiPs star Robert Pine, father of future Star Trek star Chris Pine and the late, great Charles Nelson Reilly.
Other celebs on the panel in this 1979 episode included a very young Jamie Lee Curtis and a post-MTM Show but pre-Golden Girls Betty White.
Kirstie was an aspiring actress then bust listed her profession as interior decorator.

You didn’t mention that Kirstie went on to act in Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan. On Match Game she kissed future Capt. Kirk’s dad (Robert Pine) a few times.
