Five is lucky number for Serena and Venus!

When their playing days are over, Venus Williams and Serena Williams are going to be able to know that when it came to Wimbledon, they really did it all.

The sisters won the women’s doubles title on Saturday for the fifth time to go along with the fifth singles crown Serena had won earlier in the day. Venus, who lost in the first round this year, already has five singles trophies.

That’s 10 titles each in singles and doubles and 16 overall as a family (Serena also won the mixed doubles in 1998).

It is just an astonishing record.

The sisters return to Wimbledon in three weeks to compete as a doubles team at the London Olympics where they are the two-time defending gold medalists. Venus also won the gold medal in singles at the 2000 Games.
