Final season of “White Collar” starring Matt Bomer to premiere on USA Network on November 6

Okay Matt Bomer fans, we have a date.

USA Network announced today that the final season of White Collar will premiere on November 6.

It’s the sixth and final season for the popular drama that launched Matt to stardom.

Matt has been sensational as charming con-artist Neal Caffrey ho works with an FBI agent played by Tim DeKay. Neal agreed to catch other white collar criminals in exchange for his freedom.

The series co-stars Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson, Sharif Atkins and Marsha Thomason and also featured the great Diahann Carroll in a recurring role as Caffrey’s landlady.

This final season is just six episodes.

Greg, becasue of you and this blog I learned of Matt Bomer but hardly recognized him in his role on The Normal Heart. I cannot remember if you had mentioned Matt in his role as Neil Caferty in White Collar however Amazon and Barnes & Noble (this is not an advertisement for them)both offer package deals for the first 4 seasons which I ordered and was really pleased and enjoyed almost every episode (16) in each season when it appeared that Matt as Neil had the penchant to lead the FBI where he wanted them to go getting out a scrapes by the skin of his teeth. In closing this note I was not at all shocked at Matt’s character in The Normal Heart after he lost 40 pounds weight to play the role I lived through and somehow survived those years when many of my friends and half the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus did not.

  2. Please, please say it isn’t so? I am so sad to see it go. I think I’ve watched every episode at least six times. The only other show I’ve ever done that for is Seinfeld. This show is a classic. I wish another network would pick it up. I know it won’t happen, but a girl can dream. The whole white collar team will be missed 🙁
