Federer survives in Paris – barely
You gotta be kidding, right? Roger Federer has his best chance of winning the French Open – ever – and he’s almost loses to TOMMY HAAS? My poor friend Henry, the world’s biggest Federer fan, nearly died as he watched Federer finally defeat Haas in five sets: 6-7, 6-7, 6-4, 6-0, 6-2.
On the heels of Rafael Nadal’s historic upset yesterday, you gotta figure that Federer is feeling the pressure now that he is the favorite. Let’s hope he got it all out of his system and will win the remaining three matches he needs to win to be not only be crowned French Open champion, but the greatest player in history.
