Watched Famous Last Words: Gloria Steinem last night on Netflix. Highly recommend it. Prior to her death, Miss Steinem sat down for a deeply reflective conversation about her legacy and to immortalize her final words with the understanding that it would only be shared with the world after she passed.

“I just hope that I have, however accidentally, left behind some words or actions or stories or something that is useful to the people — and pleasurable, hopefully — to the people who are going to continue long after you and me,” she said.

Love this part about encouraging everyone to tell your own story: “The most important thing we can do for each other is to know each other through stories.” Her hope for us all is “that you are able to do what you love [and] to be the unique person you are.”
