We’re going to find out what Neil Patrick Harris would look like if he dramatically upped his carb intake.

On the Nov. 9 episode of Neil’s sitcom How I Met Your Mother. his character of Barney will back on some serious poundage in a sequence that looks into the future at how Barney and Robin (Cobie Smulders) are faring as a couple, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Entertainment Weekly reports

“It’s a phenomenon that a lot of people can relate to, certainly more than a few people on our writing staff. It’s relationship gut,”  HIMYM exec producer and co-creator Carter Bays tells EW.com.

Bays says NPH was more than game to don a fat suit for the episode: “He was loving it. He was like, ‘Give me the biggest fat suit you’ve got.’”
