ET vaults: Meryl Streep through the years

I am counting the days untl May 1 when The Devil Wears Prada 2 opens. It will be a hoot seeing Meryl Streep again as Miranda Priestly. Entertainment Tonight dug into its considerable vault to take a look back (starting with 1977’s Julia) at a career with so many classic performances that they some are barely mentioned (Postcards From the Edge barely and Defending Your Life, The Post and Doubt not at all). But really almost everything else makes it and there some of her three actress daughtes – all successful.

I truly don’t think anyone has ever done the movie star/actress thing better and for longer then Miss Streep. She’s charming and present in interviews and not at all diva like and she’s both critically-acclaimed and beloved by the public.
