“Empire” preview: Michael leaves Jamal

So Empire is my new obsession and Cookie is my favorite character on all of television – broadcast or cable. This show so reminds me of Dynasty only with better acting and the gay storyline is far better than was possible for Steven Carrington in the 1980s.

On Wednesday night’s episode, a fed up Michael leaves Jamal. He’s not willing to play the game of Jamal not willing to be open about his sexuality because of his music career. Then there is the matter of Jamal possibly being the father of a child.

Still, it’s a pity if these two cute and crazy kids can’t make it.
