Emmy noms include nods for Colman Domingo (2), Jeff Hiller, Richard Gadd, Alan Cumming, RuPaul & more LGBTQ performers!

So happy to see so many LGTBQ performers receive Emmy nominations today!

Among them is the multi-talented Colman Domingo who got two: Guest Actor in a Drama for Euphoria and Supporting Actor in a Comedy for The Four Seasons. In the first category, his competition includes past winner Jeff Hiller nominated this year for Pluribus. In the latter category, Domingo’s competition includes Michael Urie for Shrinking.

Hiller joked on Instagram: “Do you think this second nomination will make me insufferable? Trick question, I was already insufferable!”

Past winner Ayo Edebiri is once again up for lead actress in a comedy for The Bear while in the supporting comedy actress category, last year’s winner Hannah Einbinder will compete against her Hacks co-star Megan Stalter.

Cherry Jones, a past winner for 24, is nominated this year in the guest actress comedy category for Hacks. Richard Gadd has been nominated in the Supporting Actor, Limited Series or Movie for Half Man. Gadd already has three Emmys for acting, writing and producing Baby Reindeer.

In the category of Host for a Reality/Competition Program, the nominees include past winners RuPaul Charles for RuPaul’s Drag Race and Alan Cumming for The Traitors.

And finally, Connor Storrie. The man who has shot to stardom playing a gay hockey player on Heated Rivalry earned a nod as guest actor in a comedy series for hosting Saturday Night Live.
