Ellen shares her thoughts on Bruce Jenner interview: “I think what he did was incredibly brave”

Just saw this video of Ellen DeGeneres sharing with her daytime audience her thoughts on Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer last week.

Says Ellen: “It took a lot of courage to do that. I know it’s really hard to reveal what you’ve been hiding. I know there’s been a lot of jokes – I think when people are uncomfortable and they don’t understand, that’s how they don’t know how to handle it and they make jokes. It’s really childish and I think those people are poo poo heads.’

She adds: ‘You have to admire someone who’s willing to risk ridicule and tell the truth. It’s so much easier living your life keeping a secret because we all want to fit in. … Let’s face it, the world would be a better place if we focused on what he have in common instead of what makes you different. Because we all want the same thing: We want love, we want acceptance … I hope we can all learn to co-exist and stop judging each other.’
