Ellen DeGeneres pays tribute to Oprah who she says “will always be the queen of daytime TV”
Oprah Winfrey officially announced the end of her syndicated talk show in 2011. And already the tributes are coming in for the big O.
One of them comes from Oprah’s co-O Magazine cover girl and fellow daytime talk host Ellen DeGeneres:“I don’t think I could be here without her,” Ellen told the audience of her talk show Thursday. “She will always be the Queen of daytime television. She deserves to rest. She has worked really, really hard.”
Ellen appeared on the Nov. 9 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show with wife Portia de Rossi and joked that “Oprah also said she is leaving me all of her money.”
