Ellen DeGeneres hosts reunion of ‘The Puppy Episode’ cast members Laura Dern, Oprah Winfrey and more

It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since the character of Ellen Morgan came out on the ABC sitcom Ellen. Remember The Puppy Episode? Laura Dern and Oprah Winfrey guest starred in this classic episode that was so groundbreaking at the time. They will join Ellen DeGeneres and other series regulars joining cast members Joely Fisher, Clea Lewis and David Anthony Higgins. It marks the first reunion since the ABC sitcom ended. The reunion, which has already been taped, will air on The Ellen DeGeneres on April 28.
