Ellen DeGeneres and Jane Lynch among those getting Hollywood Walk of Fame stars next year

Ellen DeGeneres and Jane Lynch are among the stars who will receive their stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013.

In all,  24 names from the world of movies, television, theater and music will be immortalized on the sidewalks of Hollywood.

Oscar winners Jennifer Hudson, Helen Mirren, Javier Bardem, Ron Howard, and Olympia Dukakis and three-time Emmy winner Bryan Cranston are also set to receive stars as are Oscar nominees James Franco and Viola Davis.

Musical honorees include the boy bands New Kids on the Block with openly gay member Jonathan Knight and The Backstreet Boys, Usher, Jane’s Addiction, and the late singers Luther Vandross and Janis Joplin.

Television stars Simon Baker, Matthew Perry and Katey Sagal will also be receiving stars next year.
