“Eating Out 3” is looking for a home

I’ll admit it, I really enjoyed Eating Out and Eating Out 2. Sloppy Seconds. The titles might sound raunchy but these are funny films filled with hot guys and gay hijinks. What’s not to love? Well, there is going to be an Eating Out 3 and I came across a Facebook post from director Allan Brocka who directed the first film in the franchise as well as the wonderful Boy Culture and the series Rick and Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World.

They are looking for some specific locations for the third flick scheduled to begin shooting next month or in  early June. I thought I’d pass along the info verbatim:

We’re looking for a versatile residential location in a film & permit friendly neighborhood (which would exclude West Hollywood, Culver City & Pasadena).

House Location: 2-4 bedroom house, versatile looks among the different rooms would be great. -Craftsman, Victorian, Spanish, Modern-with-character, something interesting but not too over the top. Nice front yard & exterior details, would be great to also have a backyard with a different look. Empty, recently remodeled or about to remodeled house would be great, but not required.
*Needed for anywhere from 2 to 7 days, depending on versatility of location.

Also looking for:
Cafe/coffee house – closed a day of the week, recently closed down or about to open. Anything in your neighborhood?
Nail Salon – Same as above, we can shoot around their down days.

The project is a gay-themed mainstream romantic comedy. Because this is a micro-budget feature, we’re looking for VERY affordable locations. We’re not asking for freebies, but generosity and flexibility would be greatly appreciated. We are a very experienced & professional crew, and we have all the necessary insurance and perm its. These are lean times as you know, so it could be a chance for you or a friend to pick up a few extra bucks.
