Don’t miss screening of “Clueless” Friday at Hollywood Forever Cemetery – a benefit for LA LGBT Center
Have not watched Clueless in I don’t know how long.
The movie made Alicia Silverstone a star 20 years ago but I will always remember it best as when I fell in love with Paul Rudd.
I will be seeing it again on Friday – and in a cemetery of all places.
Clueless is the centerpiece of the Out Under the Stars event presented by Los Angeles Women’s Network and Young Professionals Council. All proceeds benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
Guests can relax on cemetery’s Fairbanks Lawn (bring blankets, pillows & low chairs) and pack a picnic (wine & beer are okay but no distilled spirits). Music by DJ Casey Alva will be played as we wait for the sun to set.
VIP packages include:
- Reserved Prime picnic seating, with blanket and pillows
- 1 complimentary onsite parking pass
- Picnic basket with food and wine
- Early entry at 6pm
- General tickets are $20
To order your tickets or for more information, go to The Center’s website.

My comment has nothing to do with the movie. I live in Chicago and they recently had a premiere of Sinister 2 at a cemetery. Now this movie is also being shown at a cemetery?! What’s wrong with a movie theater where no one would be disrespecting the dead people buried in the cemetery. I just don’t get it.
