Donald Trump brings up Arianna Huffington’s gay ex-husband in latest public feud

Do you ever get the feeling that Donald Trump might have issues with strong women?

He’s no longer feuding with Rosie O’Donnell – at least since she had her recent heart attack – so now he’s set his sights on Arianna Huffington.

Trump wrote on Twitter yesterday: ‘@ariannahuffis unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man – he made a good decision.’

Her ex-husband is Michael Huffington, a one-term US congressman from California who in 1994 spent $28 million to try and unseat incumbent US Senator Dianne Feinstein. He and the former Arianna Stassinopoulos were married from 1986 to 1997 and have two children. He came out as bisexual a year after their divorce.

The founder of The Huffington Post has not responded to Trump’s insult.
