Does David Beckham have a man crush on Tom Cruise?

Well, they really are awfully cute together aren’t they?

But we all know that soccer icon David Beckham is happily married to Victoria Beckham formerly of The Spice Girls and that Tom Cruise is so smitten with current wife Katie Holmes that he jumped on Oprah’s couch declaring his love.

That doesn’t mean that Beckham doesn’t appreciate how damned good looking his movie star pal is. He said on George Lopez’s late-night show this week: “You say there’s good looking people, and you look at Tom, and he’s one of the most handsome men I’ve ever met.”

True that!

Beckham also shared with George some of the fun and games he and Tom have: “We were at dinner once with Tom and Katie … and we sat there and everyone was like, ‘OK, let’s play a music game, let’s start a singing game!'”

Singing in public, he said, “is my worst nightmare!”

“So I was texting my friend, ‘Oh, please, invite me to your table!'” said Beckham. “I kind of get uncomfortable with that.”
