Dionne Warwick opens up about her music & legacy
Six-time Grammy winner Dionne Warwick is among this year’s class of Kennedy Center Honorees. CBS News’ Vladimir Duthiers met Warwick at her childhood elementary school in New Jersey, which is now named after her, to discuss her decades-long musical career, philanthropy and lasting legacy.

I remember living in Dallas in the mid-90s and attending Dionne’s performance with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. What a great performance. I still have the program in one of my boxes.
Burt B. and Hal D. harnessed Dionne’s talent and made beautiful songs. Yes, Dionne may not be the best singer but her voice is distinct. You know it’s her the first note that comes out of her mouth.
