Diana Ross, soon to be 75, brought down the house with a medley of her hits at the 2019 Grammys
Let the birthday celebration begin!
The legendary Diana Ross turns 75 in March and showed at last night’s Grammy Awards that she is as fabulous as ever.
The former lead singer of The Supremes performed a medley of songs including The Best Years of My Life which has been her anthem to express her appreciation of her loyal fans who make it possible for her to still sell out arenas all around the world.
“Happy Birthday to Me!” she exclaimed after concluding the performance.
She also said: “Together we have no limits. There’s only success ahead, and you can lead the way. Learn, dream, unlock new doors. All is possible with music and with you.”
Despite twelve nominations over two decades, Miss Ross never won a competitive Grammy award for her music, though she was honored with the Recording Academy’s 55th Annual Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
She has won many American Music Awards, received the Kennedy Center Honors and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Medley?! She sang two songs. And as much as I love Miss Ross, she could have sung two better songs. She is known for being upbeat and high energy and these two songs were anything but.

I think she looked great. But, the performance left me a bit cold and seemed self-indulgent.
