Designing Women Thursday: Suzanne Sugarbaker tries to help Charlene’s baby win a contest

These scenes are from a silly subplot to an excellent season five episode about Mary Jo’s old art teacher who busts out of her nursing home.

Charlene enters her baby Olivia into a contest to be the face of a baby food brand. Suzanne, being a former Miss Georgia, knows all about these kinds of competition and insists that Olivia does not have enough hair to win.

So Suzanne has a baby wig made for the kid!

It’s so ridiculous but every time Suzanne pulls the thing out of her purse it sends me into stitches.
