Daytime Soap Clips: Oliver and Kyle bury the hatchet about their past on “One Life to Live”
This is a superb episode as the Oliver and Kyle storyline moves forward.
After all the drama of Fish (Scott Evans) being in the closet then finally coming to terms with himself and coming out, he wants to atone for the world of hurt he caused Kyle (Brett Claywell) when he dumped him back in college.
“You know I really am sorry,” Fish says.
Kyle says he forgives Oliver and tells him what hurt him the most “was that you couldn’t see what I saw – that you are perfect just the way you are.”
Oliver: “I always wonder what would’ve happened if my mom hadn’t walked in on us (this is what caused Oliver to freak out and dump Kyle). Maybe if we had more time I would have realized that what we had was worth fighting for.”
So it’s clear they still love each other but Kyle has moved on with Nick (Nicholas Rodriguez). Oliver tries to accept this and later tells Cristian (David Fumero) that he blew it and doesn’t deserve another chance. Cristian tells his pal: “No ring, no strings. They just started dating … it’s probably not that serious.”
You go boy!
