Daytime Soap Clip: Luke and Noah kiss goodbye, Dr. Reid comes out to Henry on “As the World Turns”
It’s a jam-packed As the World Turns today on the Luke-Noah-Damian front. It kicks off with a scene between Luke and Dr. Reid Oliver at the hospital. Reid goes a little too far with his smart remarks when he tells Reid that his father is in jail and Reid asks: “God dad or bad dad?”
Luke loses it and slams Reid up against the wall and asks: “Do you ever get tired of the sound of your own voice because quite frankly I am sick of it!”
Luke tells him that Damien is his father and he will likely never see him again. Reid, of course, has a smart-ass reply: “You’re lucky you have a spare.”
Luke asks him why he has to hurt so many people with his words and actions like taking Noah off to Texas for treatment. Reid calls Luke out on his own shortcomings telling him he is acting like a spoiled brat.
You will see in this clip that as the confrontation unfolds, the sexual tension between the two of them is palpable.
Then Reid goes home and waiting is old fellow med school student Chris Hughes who outs him (not sure that Reid was ever in, he just never mentioned being gay). Reid casually confirms this to Katie and goofball Henry as he is eating chips.
Meanwhile, annoying Noah comes by to see Luke and home and wants to nullify his stupid adoption because otherwise he’ll never be independent. It also helps that Reid has taken Noah on as a research subject so his treatment won’t cost him anything. At this point, Luke tells him to have a great life and to not let the door hit him on the way out.
I wish that last sentence were true!
Instead, Luke agrees to film a little comment for Noah’s movie on his experience: “Noah Mayer, you are the most amazing person I’ve ever met and it is an honor to know you.” He then takes him to the hospital and they share a pretty good kiss – viewed by Reid!
I think it’s time Luke gets to know more people.
He and Reid have a bit of a heart-to-heart and Luke observes that he’s really a good person beneath the veneer. Reid asks Luke to stay out of his way if he comes to Dallas to visit Luke while he is treating Noah. indicating that he is a distraction.
Now we know what kind of distraction!
Here are Luke scenes from Wednesday’s show where crazy bio-dad Damian is captured after holding Lily hostage and knocking Holden out. Luke tells him off at the police station. Luke’s sister Faith is back (as a different actress and a bit older) and she seems to have developed a prescription drug problem!

Love this storyline…I can’t wait to see a Luke/Noah/Dr. Reid triangle in the near future…We can probably see a nicer Dr. Reid once he falls in love…

i like Luke and Reid. Noah annoys me though. But will Luke and Noah get back together before the show ends or is it really over?

I hope luke and the dr. gets together.I will miss the show when it leaves the air. we have already lost the guilding light what will be after this one.we have enough reailty shows lets get back to day time soap.I also hope that craigs son he just found will tell the truth and tell who made him lie on craig before the show ends. And poor dumb little casye no sence at all he just wants to fill love so much he is will to put up with henry girlfriends mess.I hope if she does get pregant that casey will want a dna test to see if he is the father.Barbra you are like me give it up we are to old to be playing love games come out and tell henery how you fill give it a chance.everyone can see he is crazy about you.Kati get a life leave everyone else alone….

Luke and Noah were destined to be together and they were made for eachother. Luke needs to get over Reid and go to Noah I hope they get back together! They were made for eachother.

Well, after everything Luke and Noah went through they should definately get back together.. It’s like fate brought them together or something and it’s obvious there is still love there- by the end of the series they should fall back into their relationship and stay together with Reid being cut out the triangle altogether- Luke needs to get over it and choose one man.. let’s hope he picks the right one for him (Noah) because Reid annoys me- he tries to be heartless..

i think you guys are wrong.Noah does not deserve Luke. All the time Luke was trying to help him he just pushed him away. I’m definitely Luke and Dr.Oliver all the way. If you think about it their relationship is weird and there like polar opposites, and like they say. Opposites attract. Their relationship is interesting to watch so it would be an awesome observation as the relationship grows. so Luke get over Noah, he doesn’t deserve you. So Reid and Luke all the way. But that’s just my opinion. Oh well.
