Daytime Soap Clip: Layla confronts Fish about Kyle. His explanation: “I was partying, we were playing truth or dare!”
Even faced with the truth, Kyle isn’t ready to admit that he was gay and is gay and always will be gay. Here are Thursday’s scenes from One Life to Live.

You can’t be gay?
But you are Blanche… you ARE!

Wow the scenes from Thursday’s ONE LIFE TO LIVE were strong. The actress who plays Layla hadn’t impressed me until these scenes, she was powerful. I liked how she wasn’t just blaming him or questioning him. She only wanted the truth for herself and for him. You can tell she won’t take being his “beard”. And then what was sad was, after laying out to Kyle what she won’t accept in a relationship with a man, he still says” i need you, your the kind of woman that i’ve always wanted” and she says “it’s not enough” and his sad response is “but it is for me, and i can be what you need”
There was a moment of humor when he says “i’m not gay..I’m a cop i want to get married and have a family” And Layla says “gay people have families and jobs and in some states they even get married” The sarcasm in her voice evoked the tone of stop living under a rock, you can be gay and be happy. Her empowered tone was interesting cause I’ve never seen a woman in a film confront her boyfriend/husband for being gay and end up being the one basically telling him it’s ok to be gay just don’t lie to me about it.
Excellent!
